Compact 5-stage system for home use, with quick-replacement filters.

Specifications

Compact 5-stage system for home use, with quick-replacement filters.

Five stages in a compact body, with quick-replace filters

Same compact philosophy as Inline, two more stages. Pretreatment is divided into sediment and activated carbon before the membrane, and a final taste filter closes the path to the tap. In practice, this means that the membrane — the most expensive component of the system — works behind a double shield and lives longer. The filters are quick replacement: you turn off the water, turn them a quarter turn and they come out. It doesn't have a booster pump, so it needs a constant network pressure of around 3 bar for the membrane to work; if the pressure in your home drops during peak hours, check out the Compact Premium.

FAQ

What does reverse osmosis do and what does it remove?

The reverse osmosis membrane retains dissolved salts, nitrates, heavy metals, microorganisms and chlorine residues, providing high-purity drinking water. It is the most effective treatment method for domestic and professional use.

Which system do I need for my home?

For a family, a 5 or 6-stage undercounter system with a production of 8–16 lt/h (series Economy and Premium). If space is limited, the Compact they give the same quality in a smaller volume.

When do I need a booster pump?

When the network pressure is below 2,5 bar the membrane does not perform properly. The models Premium 6 stages and HERA They incorporate a pump, while an RO pump can be added separately to an existing installation.

How often do I change the membrane and filters?

Pre-filters (sediment and activated carbon) are changed every 6–12 months. The reverse osmosis membrane usually lasts 2–3 years, depending on the hardness and quality of the feed water.

What does GPD mean?

GPD = gallons per day. It indicates the maximum production of the system: 50 GPD ≈ 8 lt/h, 100 GPD ≈ 16 lt/h, while industrial ones reach up to 9000 GPD.

Do you need an expansion tank?

In domestic systems yes — it stores the produced water so that it is immediately available at the tap. Direct production systems (HERA 600/800) work without a container.
