Models & Technical Specifications

MP-Pro Cl2: measures real chlorine, not Redox

The critical difference between this pump and the pH/Rx is the way it measures. The Redox (ORP) indirectly measures the oxidizing capacity of water and is affected by pH and pollutant load. MP-Pro Cl2 is bound to amperometric electrode and counts directly the residual chlorine in ppm — the unit required by health inspection. That is why it is a mandatory option in public and hotel swimming pools. Provision 6 l / h, three dosing functions, overdose alarm.

What does a pool dosing system do?

It continuously measures water parameters (pH and Rx or free chlorine) and automatically doses chemicals — stable, healthy water without manual doses and fluctuations.

pH/Rx or pH/Cl₂ — which one should I choose?

Rx (redox) measurement is the reliable and economical solution for private swimming pools. Amperometric free chlorine (Cl₂) measurement offers maximum accuracy — ideal for public and demanding facilities.

Which system is right for my pool?

For private pools: MP2 series or Pool-Tec Home panels. For spas: Panel SPA. For public/professional pools: ME3, MP Pro and Public panels with amperometric measurement.

What maintenance is needed?

Periodic calibration of sensors with buffer solutions and replacement of consumables (pH/Rx electrodes, peristaltic pump tubing) — all available from Oxygon.

Does it work with salt electrolysis?

Yes — common combination: electrolysis produces the chlorine and the dosing unit keeps the pH at the ideal 7,2 – 7,6 for maximum disinfection efficiency.
