What does a pool heat exchanger do?

It transfers heat from a primary circuit — boiler, heat pump, solar or geothermal — to the pool water, without the two waters mixing. This way you heat the pool with the energy source you already have.

How many kW of alternator do I need?

It depends on the volume of the pool, the temperature you want and the temperature of the primary. Our ranges cover from 14 kW for small hot tubs to 1.200 kW for public pools.

Stainless steel or titanium?

AISI 316 stainless steel covers classic chlorine pools. Titanium is essential in salt water, salt electrolysis and seawater, where corrosion is intense.

Tubular or plate heat exchanger?

Tubular (D-HWT, D-NWT, D-TWT, SST) have low pressure drop and are directly connected to the circuit. Plate (X-PWT, 13M-PWT, G-PWT, D-PWT) provide high efficiency in a small volume and are suitable for solar and low temperatures.

Do you need a controller and a pump?

For automatic operation, yes. We have controls with or without a built-in three-speed circulator, as well as the HeatSmart / CoolSmart PLUS with a touchscreen.
