i-Series In-Line Filter

In-line filters Oxygon i-Series with 1/4″ thread — polypropylene, activated carbon and alkaline.

Specifications

In-line filters Oxygon i-Series with 1/4″ thread — polypropylene, activated carbon and alkaline.

  • In-line connection
  • Thread 1/4″
  • PP, GAC & alkaline

1/4″ cartridges that screw directly into the line

The i-Series does not require a filter housing: the filter is a closed body with a 1/4″ thread or quick-connect fitting and fits directly onto the hose. Four types for four jobs — polypropylene for sediments, GAC activated carbon in two connection versions for taste and odors, and alkaline for raising pH after osmosis. They are the filters you find as the final stage in RO systems, in coolers and in ice machines. Changing them is a matter of seconds; choosing them is a matter of what you want to fix.

FAQ

Which water filter do I need for my home?
For sediment and rust, a polypropylene (PP) filter is sufficient. For chlorine, odors and taste, activated carbon (CTO/GAC) is needed. 2-3 stage systems combine both. If you also want protection against microorganisms, add a UV stage.
What is the difference between CTO and GAC?
CTO (Carbon Block) is compressed carbon that also retains particles — better for taste/odor and smaller µm. GAC (granular carbon) has a higher flow rate and is typically used as a final flavor stage.
How often do I change the replacement filters?
Sediment filters (PP) every 3-6 months, carbon filters (CTO/GAC) every 6-12 months depending on consumption and water quality. UV lamps are replaced annually.
What is a self-cleaning filter?
It is a filter with a screen (e.g. Cintropur, DF, IWF) that is cleaned by flushing without replacing a spare part. Ideal for central supplies, drilling and industrial facilities with a high sediment load.
What does μm (micro) mean?
They indicate the size of particles that the filter retains. 5μm holds sand and rust, 1μm holds finer sediments, while 0,5μm reaches parasites and microparticles.
