Concrete Spot: changing lighting without emptying the pool

The distinguishing feature of the Concrete series is patented replacement system without emptying. It sounds like a detail until it's necessary: draining a pool for a burned-out light bulb costs water, reconditioning chemicals, and a day's labor — and in a pool with a liner, it poses a risk to the membrane. It's about spot light 450 lumen from 24 LEDs, In 6 W or 9 W at 12 V AC, IP68, for concrete pools. The spots are placed many and low, giving uniform light instead of strong beams.

Frequently asked questions about pool lighting

What does RGB mean and what does monochrome (Cool White) light mean?
The RGB models provide colorful lighting with switching programs (9 or 14 programs), while the Cool White ones provide constant cool white light. Choose RGB for atmosphere and color changes, Cool White for a clean and bright effect.
Does the pool light need a transformer?
Yes. All underwater lights operate on 12V AC for safety reasons, so a waterproof IP68 transformer is required (100–600W depending on the number of lights). RGB models require an additional controller for color control.
What is the difference between a PAR56 and a flat light fixture?
The PAR56 is mounted in a standard PAR56 socket and is suitable for new and old pools. The flat wall light has a slim profile and is mounted on the wall without a socket, for a discreet and modern effect.
How many watts/lumens do I need for my pool?
As an indication, one luminaire per 15–25 m² of water surface, with a power of 12–24W depending on depth and dimensions. For exact dimensions, contact us.
Can the light bulb be changed without draining the pool?
In the PAR56 luminaires and the Concrete series (with a patented replacement system), the lamp is changed from the front, without emptying the pool — the cable allows the luminaire to be retracted.
Are underwater lights safe (IP68 / 12V)?
Yes. All our luminaires are IP68 (fully waterproof) and operate at 12V (SELV — safety extra low voltage), ensuring safe underwater use according to applicable standards.
