AntiVortex bottom well with safety grate that prevents suction vortex, for maximum swimmer safety.
The bottom well sucks water from the lowest point of the basin. In a simple well, suction can create δίνη — and if someone sits on it or gets caught in a hair, the negative pressure holds them down. It's one of the most serious pool accidents.
The AntiVortex grill breaks the flow so that a vortex does not form and the suction cannot be concentrated in one point.
The rule that applies regardless of the model: never a single bottom wellAt least two, spaced apart, so that if one becomes blocked, all the suction is not concentrated in the other. In public pools, it is mandatory.
