Filtration and salt balancing system for the industry focus — protection of coffee machines and steam ovens.
The difference from Hard Soft is essential and concerns the taste of the coffee. The full softener removes all the minerals, and espresso from completely soft water comes out flat and unyielding — salts participate in the extraction. Hard Balance does filtering and balancing: keeps the content in a desired range instead of setting it to zero. Two sizes: W430 with 4,3 liters (42 × 27 × 17 cm) and W670 with 6,7 liters (57 × 27 × 17 cm)For special cafes it is the right choice; for glass washing, Hard Soft.

The Oxygon Hard-Balance® protects professional equipment from salts, while maintaining the balance of minerals that affect taste.
The water passes through a column of ion-exchange resin, which traps calcium and magnesium ions — the salts that cause scale — and replaces them with sodium. When the resin becomes saturated, the head automatically performs a regeneration with brine from the salt reservoir.
It depends on the hardness of the water, the daily consumption and the number of people. For example, a 4-person house with medium hardness is covered by 20–25 liters of resin. Send us a water analysis and we will recommend the appropriate model.
The chronometric regenerates at fixed intervals. The volumetric measures the liters passed and regenerates only when needed, saving salt and water — it is the appropriate choice where consumption is not constant.
Practically every 1–2 months in a domestic installation, depending on hardness and consumption. The container should never be completely empty, as this stops the regeneration of the resin.
With clean feed water and proper operation, 8–10 years. Chlorine, iron, and suspended solids reduce the duration — therefore pre-filtration before the softener is recommended.
The water becomes slightly saltier as calcium is replaced by sodium. For drinking water we recommend a reverse osmosis system in the sink, along with a softener for the rest of the network.
We are exclusively aimed at professionals: plumbers, technicians, shops and installers. Request a quote and we will send you a wholesale price list.
