What does pool lining include?

The final, visible surface of the pool: the reinforced PVC membrane (liner) or the tiles/beads that waterproof and color it, as well as the perimeter marble edges that complete the rim. OXYGON supplies all four, wholesale.

What is a liner and how is it different from tiles?

The liner is a 1,5 mm reinforced PVC membrane that is applied on site and completely seals the basin — it is installed quickly, in any shape, without grouting. The tiles and mosaics are a hard coating on a sealed substrate, with a different aesthetic and higher labor costs.

Which material is more durable?

All four are long-lasting when installed correctly. The reinforced SopremaPool membrane is anti-UV and antimicrobial with a manufacturer's warranty; the porcelain tiles have very low water absorption; the glass mosaics are resistant to chlorine and sunlight.

Can I renovate an old pool with a liner?

Yes — it is one of the most common applications. The reinforced membrane is placed over the existing surface (tile or concrete) and provides a new, completely waterproof coating without any removal.
