Single-phase & three-phase versions are available, with analog or digital thermostat and controllers (PoolSmart, Contactor). The power selection (kW) depends on the pool volume and the desired heating speed.
It depends on the volume of the pool and the desired heating speed. For small pools & spas, 3–9 kW is sufficient; for larger ones, three-phase versions are required.
AISI 316 stainless steel heaters cover most swimming pools. For salt water (electrolysis), titanium heaters are recommended for maximum corrosion resistance.
The heater heats immediately but consumes more electricity. For continuous use the heat pump is more economical; the heater is ideal for immediate/supplementary heating.
Single-phase versions are available up to ~9 kW. For higher power, a three-phase supply (380–400V) is required.
