If the flow rate exceeds the maximum, a by-pass is needed, otherwise the unit risks being damaged.
In versions with lamp life indication, below the minimum flow rate the lamp does not light up, because there is a flow switch; the simple HR versions (108.11.25/26) are connected to operate only when the filter pump is operating.
The connection is made with a fitting for a 2″ or Ø63 pipe, and is accompanied by reductions for Ø50 or 1½″.
